8th of March 2017 marks another year of celebrating women’s day internationally with great joy and fervour. Working Women Welfare Trust , a platform which is busy in helping working women become an asset to their families and society also celebrated IWD with great enthusiasm.

 

A women conference was held at a local hotel which was attended by working women from different fields of work. Speakers enlightened the audience upon the theme “Be active for a positive change”.

 

It was repeatedly stressed that while women should work in all fields, family must be a Priority of a working women and feminism must go hand in hand with familism.

 

Women entrepreneurs were provided stalls to introduce their products.

 

Women like me need more such platforms for positive thought sharing and networking Let’s become united and do something for the development and betterment of the most active and energetic part of the society,

let’s celebrate “BEING A WOMEN”.
